We believe that beyond the purely functional purpose of code lies the creative layer of interactive art. When code and aesthetics intersect, it can inspire curiosity and trigger real human emotions, just like any other form of artistic expression.
For us, the open web has always been a place for displaying the Art of the people. That is why we were excited to hear that aino.agency has been selected by Svensk Webbkonst as one of nine websites that hold exceptional design quality. The website will be archived by the Swedish National Library to preserve it for future reference and to become part of Sweden's digital design heritage. Thanks to the jury Johanna Lundberg, Adam Arinbjarnarson, John Bengtsson and Anna Sagström for the nomination and thanks to Beckmans Designhögskola, Kungliga biblioteket and of course the initiator Peter Ström for making this happen.
