Gardinex
Solutions
E-commerce, Visual Identity, Shopify

Gardinex has been tailoring made-to-measure curtains in nearly two decades. Their product can be identified through its couture-like precision, attention to detail and awareness of the architectural space.

The core of the new site is the concept of tactile luxury. We aimed to transfer the physical quality of fabrics into the purely visual. Drawing inspiration from the way curtains obscure, filter and reveal, the visual focus is controlled by contrast in color, grayscale and texture.

Small thumbnails with large margins against big full-bleed images creates an architecturally monumental impression, yet the site maintains its tranquility and ease with minimalistic typesetting and generous white space.

How it’s built
- Platform Shopify, headless
- CMS Storyblok
- Frontend Next.js, React
- Search Shopify native
- Marketing Klaviyo
- Checkout Shopify, on the brand’s domain
- Hosting Vercel
- Markets 29 countries, 6 currencies
A headless Shopify storefront
Gardinex sells in 29 countries and 6 currencies from one codebase. Shopify holds products, inventory and checkout, Storyblok holds the content, and the storefront is built on Next.js with every page pre-rendered and served statically. Market, language and currency routing is generated directly from Shopify Markets, so the merchant configures markets once and the site follows. Content updates go live in seconds without a deploy.
Made to measure
Made-to-measure is handled in the product data. Curtain pages read each product’s allowed dimensions, validate the customer’s width and length as they type, and carry the exact measurements through the cart into the order. Free fabric samples work the same way, with a limit of four per order enforced in the cart.
A consultation funnel
The site sells advice as well as textiles. A guide hub covers measuring, installation and care, and consultation bookings flow through an on-site dialog and calendar into a dedicated Klaviyo list, so every lead lands where the team already works.
Checkout stays Shopify
The cart hands over to Shopify’s checkout on the brand’s own domain, so payments, shipping and taxes run on infrastructure Shopify maintains rather than custom code. Shipping addresses are corrected silently where possible and confirmed with the customer where not, never blocking the purchase.
Static by contract
Every product, category and content page is built as a static page, and the build fails if any page would fall back to slower server rendering. The result is a storefront that stays fast in every market without anyone having to watch it.
